The collaboration expands the PRIMERGY portfolio with high-performance, GPU-optimised Supermicro platforms, supported by Fsas Technologies’ consulting, integration, service and lifecycle management expertise.
Munich, August 19, 2026 – Fsas Technologies is expanding its collaboration with Supermicro and strengthening its role within the European server portfolio. This gives customers additional options for AI, HPC and data-intensive workloads, ranging from GPU-optimised systems to scalable architectures for modern data centres. The offering complements the existing PRIMERGY portfolio, including the PRIMERGY M8 generation as well as the new PRIMERGY GX2550 M8s and GX2580 M8s systems for enterprise AI and HPC.
The expansion comes as many AI projects move from pilot projects into production. Alongside compute power and GPU density, critical factors include power supply, cooling, waste heat management, availability and dependable service. To address these requirements, Fsas Technologies combines selected Supermicro platforms with its own architecture expertise, European service organisation and established lifecycle processes.
PRIMERGY ecosystem extended with Supermicro solutions
Supermicro extends the PRIMERGY ecosystem with high-performance, GPU-optimised server platforms for AI, HPC and data-intensive applications. This enables Fsas Technologies to address a broader range of requirements, from traditional enterprise environments and edge scenarios to highly scalable AI and HPC architectures.
The focus is not on hardware alone. Fsas Technologies acts as the point of contact for consulting, sales, integration and service relating to Supermicro-based solutions, embedding them into existing operational and support models. This gives customers a clearer path from system selection to stable operation in the data centre.
Practical dialogue at the Fsas Technologies Summit 2026
The importance of combining hardware, partner integration and operational best practice was also highlighted at the Fsas Technologies Summit 2026 at the Showpalast in Munich. Supermicro took part as a Platinum Sponsor and, together with Fsas Technologies and NVIDIA, demonstrated how ecosystem partnerships and AI-ready infrastructures are shaping the next generation of enterprise IT. In the breakout session “Let’s Talk Hardware! Servers”, Fabian Anger from Fsas Technologies, René Koch from Supermicro, Bernhard Schimpl from NVIDIA and Frank Kuypers from Intel discussed PRIMERGY M8, AI acceleration, Supermicro’s portfolio of AI solutions, energy efficiency, waste heat management and day-to-day data centre operations. The Munich summit is part of the Fsas Technologies Summit Tour 2026, which includes several European stops between April and November, including London, Lisbon, Sterrebeek near Brussels, Baarn near Utrecht, Munich, Helsinki, Tallinn, Vilnius and Spain. Under the theme “Strategy Meets Technology”, the roadshow brings together customers, partners and technology experts to discuss topics such as sovereign IT infrastructures, AI, data resilience, hybrid IT, HPC, quantum computing and server technologies.
The discussion made one point clear: when it comes to AI infrastructure, GPU count is only part of the equation. In practice, energy consumption, cooling, availability, compliance, service processes and integration into existing data centre architectures are equally important. This is precisely where the partnership with Supermicro is designed to create additional flexibility.
Sovereign infrastructure as a strategic foundation
Fsas Technologies sees its collaboration with Supermicro as a building block in a broader infrastructure strategy: customers should have the freedom to choose the technologies that best match their requirements without losing control over architecture, operations, support and lifecycle management. Together with PRIMERGY M8 systems, the “Made in Japan” PRIMERGY GX systems and its European service and consulting teams, Fsas Technologies offers a portfolio that supports both traditional enterprise workloads and demanding AI and HPC scenarios.
Availability
Supermicro-based server platforms complement the Fsas Technologies portfolio for specific workload and project requirements, particularly in GPU-intensive AI, HPC and data-intensive scenarios. PRIMERGY M8 systems are available in European markets through Fsas Technologies and its partner network. The PRIMERGY GX2550 M8s and PRIMERGY GX2580 M8s have been generally available since 1 July 2026.
